Teacher's house is a two-levelled cottage with a cobblestone veranda and a stone-brick wall. The outdoor area has a delightful garden, barbeque facilities and a pool, while the villa has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious living room with a fireplace. From the veranda and the balconies, visitors can admire a panoramic view of the Rethymno Gulf and the mountain terrain.

The house is elegantly decorated with wooden and iron antique furniture, and it is painted in white and warm shades that give it a cosy feeling. It includes 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 persons. From the ground level rooms, the outdoor areas are accessed by stairs and ramps, especially installed for persons with kinetic disabilities.

Entering the property you will see the swimming pool with barbecue facilities and a surrounding garden. As you walk in the house you will see the living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, with fridge and oven. Then you will find the first bedroom which consists of two twin beds with one bathroom with shower which is ideal for wheel chair users. In this bathroom you will find the washing machine.

You will then go up the stairs to the first level where you will find the main bedroom with air-condition with en suite bathroom and toilet. The double bed and the cupboard are antiques that date as far back as the 19th century. This main bedroom has a very nice veranda from which you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the sea on the left hand side and onto your right you will enjoy the view of the mountain with the olive tree plantations. Next to this room you will find the second main bedroom with an iron double bed with en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. This villa offers air-condition and satellite television to all its guests.

A car is essential as the first available superb market is at a distance of 3 kilometers from this private and exclusive property. This property is ideally situated as it is 3,5 kilometres from a sandy beach of Platanes and in the middle of the island of Crete which will enable the visitor to visit our very famous sites such as the Palace of Knossos, The Monastery of Arkadi, The Preveli Palm Beach and the old historical town of Rethymno.

In the old historical town the visitor will be able to enjoy a stroll in the various alleys of the Venetian Harbour called the Fortezza --which is the fortress build by the Venetians-- where he will be able to find boutiques, coffee shops, bakery, night life, bars, restaurants and taverns with Cretan Traditional Cuisine which is worldwide known as a healthy diet!
